Take your Braid Skills to an advanced level with this elite Colour Braid Workshop from your favourite Scottish Hair Braider!

You have seen Sarah create these beautiful Mermaid Braids for a while now - do you fancy giving it a go?!

The Workshop will start with the Look & Learn Colour Braid Masterclass, where Sarah will demonstrate her skill of creating beautiful Mermaid Braids. The day will then progress onto the Hands On Colour Braid Workshop where you will get your chance to practice and receive individual feedback on your Braiding Skills.

Don’t know how to Dutch Braid? Don’t worry, this workshop caters for all levels so beginners are welcome.

Join your teacher Sarah in a small intimate class for 5 students, to learn all the tips and tricks for creating this beautiful braid style. You will learn using a training doll head (from The Braid-y Bunch) and all tools will be provided on the day.

  • A tour of The Braid Bar

  • What type of extension hair is best

  • How to prep the extension for even thickness and perfect length

  • How to create 2x symmetrical braids that are tight and clean 

  • The theory behind sharp Braid Lines

  • How to finish Mermaid Braids so they last up to 1 week

  • Individual time and feedback from your teacher to perfect your own skill

What does the kit include?

Workshop Details:

  • Snacks and drinks will be provided on the day, but please feel free to bring your own.

  • Receive your Certificate of Completion at the end of the day to celebrate your new skill

  • No previous experience necessary - beginners are welcome!

  • Over 18s only

  • Must give consent for pictures and videos to be taken during the workshop

  • Access to the Braid Lounge - a private support group for ongoing feedback, support and motivation
