Is the Online Masterclass a Hands-On Lesson?
No — this is a live demonstration-style masterclass hosted on Zoom. Sarah will demonstrate the full Mermaid Braid process step-by-step while explaining the techniques used throughout. Because Sarah will not be able to clearly see your hand placement or technique through Zoom, personalised coaching and live corrections are not included in this session.
Will I be braiding during the masterclass?
You are welcome to watch, take notes, or practise along if you would like. However, the session is primarily designed as a demonstration and teaching experience rather than a fully interactive workshop.
How long is the masterclass?
The live masterclass will run for approximately 1 hour, including time for questions at the end.
Will the masterclass be recorded?
No — replay access and recordings will not be available. The live nature of the session allows Sarah to keep the experience exclusive, focused, and affordable for beginners wanting an introduction to Mermaid Braids.
Can I ask questions during the session?
Yes — there will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the masterclass and during the live Q&A at the end.

The Online Masterclass is a live demonstration designed to introduce you to the Mermaid Braid technique and help you understand the process.
The Begin With Colour 1-2-1 Lesson is a personalised hands-on training session where Sarah works directly with you, provides live feedback and correction, and helps refine your technique throughout the lesson.
Will I receive a certificate?
No — certificates are only included with the in-person Bonnie Braids training courses.
Is this suitable for complete beginners?
This masterclass is beginner-friendly for those already confident doing a basic Dutch braid. No experience with synthetic hair is necessary.
